The candidate will perform job duties as a Computer Systems Architect specializing in Storage and Backup Solutions. They will be responsible for installing, configuring, managing and maintaining storage and backup systems to ensure data integrity, availability, and security. Storage and backup solutions are in multiple lab environments operating in support of the IBCS Product Line in Huntsville, Alabama. The candidate will work closely with their Infrastructure teammates to support and enhance our infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions. Manage and maintain storage and backup systems, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage solutions. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability. Perform regular data backups and recovery operations. Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans. Troubleshoot and resolve storage and backup-related issues. Collaborate with other IT team members to support overall infrastructure. Ensure compliance with data protection and security policies. Document system configurations, procedures, and policies. Regular patching and upgrade cycles.
