Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman Defense systems is seeking a Capture Director for the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) franchise. The director, as part of the growth-oriented and customer-focused Command and Control & Weapons Integration (CWI) Division’s Mission Solutions and Strategy leadership team, will be the principal executive responsible for driving our international and domestic captures and directing the advocacy effort to develop the required government and industry relationships. As such, the candidate must have experience successfully leading large captures, as well as experience in domestic and international customer engagement, requirements development, and associated budgeting and acquisition processes. This person must be a strong communicator and able to work successfully within the domestic and international context. Developing, maintaining & nurturing customer and mission intimacy is a key part of the director’s responsibility. The director will work closely with several business functions, to include strategy, business development, communications and business execution leadership in the business unit, division, and sector. Responsibilities include leading a team to: Lead domestic and international capture teams to consistently improve probability of win, resulting in capture wins. Develop, refine, and implement franchise capture strategies and provide strategic direction to capture teams. Lead the Northrop Grumman advocacy in support of the IBCS Franchise. Drive the U.S. whole of government engagement on behalf of on-going IBCS domestic and international captures. Engage with the governments of countries with whom we have an on-going capture. Support the IBCS Franchise Investment Strategy & Management, to include performance tracking. Support the fiscal management of capture budgets, to include resource prioritization. Knowledgeable in Customer Relationships Management (CRM) tools (e.g. Salesforce) while following the process standards of the Northrop Grumman Business Acquisition Process (BAP).
