Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is searching for a Principal Software Engineer to join the Global C2 Solutions Business Unit in support of our programs, in Huntsville, AL. This position will support the IBCS network applications team. Basic Qualifications: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM); 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD Active Secret Security Clearance Experience developing software using C++ Experience with Ansible Experience configuring InterMapper network monitoring software Working knowledge of Linux commands and bash scripting Strong background in network applications Experience with hardware & software integration Willingness to develop documentation Security+ certification Qualifications that would be nice to have: Experience with Air & Missile Defense Command and Control programs such as IBCS, PATRIOT, SENTINEL, C2BMC or THAAD or any sensor/weapon system.
