The Desktop Support Administrator is responsible for front-line user-based support for the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) Product Line (PL) Infrastructure (INF) Systems Line Team. Duties of the Desktop Support Administrator include: Serving as the tier-one support for all INF support tickets Supporting, maintaining, and documenting program software applications Supporting the onboarding of equipment into tracking and monitoring tools Tier-one administration of Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux Ushering the account management process Assisting in testing new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact Supporting multiple information systems and ensuring necessary administration tasks are completed under supervision as required Assisting in the maintenance of security audits and logging information on all information systems Additional assigned duties by the Desktop Support Team Lead or other superiors.
