The selected candidate’s task encompasses the following: develops, tests, and integrates Operating Systems configurations with COTS and GOTS components. The Operating Systems will serve as tactical Operating Systems baselines for weapon systems. The selected candidate will be performing these duties on a later identified program in Huntsville, Alabama. Basic Qualifications: • 8 Years with Bachelors in Science in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM); 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD • Active Secret Security Clearance • 8570 IAT Level II Certification • In-depth knowledge of RHEL features and functionalities across multiple versions • Proficient in Linux package management • Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating systems • Experience with Git for managing automation code • Experience with scripting tools like Bash • Experience with Ansible • Knowledgeable with Group Policy • Experience with Active Directory management • Strong skills with troubleshooting system issues • Understanding of virtualization technologies • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: • RHCSA or RHCE • Knowledgeable with FPGA systems • Knowledgeable with TPM • 3+ years experience developing automation with Ansible • Understanding of basic networking, including subnets, routing, and VLANs • Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues • Understanding of hardware-based security components • Strong Understanding of Linux secure boot technology • Experience with hardware installation and maintenance to include firmware upgrades • Experience generating Linux kernel • Experience with Git
