They have a deep-rooted connection to the racing community. They are hiring for a Customer Service Sales Associate. You’ll need a passion for Racing, love to travel and help fellow racing enthusiasts buy their products.

In this role, you’ll suggest goods and services for purchase and suggest ideas that increase sales. You’ll travel, working key events to increase sales and offer a high level of customer service. You’ll look for sales opportunities and ways to grow our business, while following the company’s standard operating procedures (SOP).

- Location: Based in Indianapolis when not on the road
- Travel: Enjoy paid travel to racing events across the country to promote our brand! You’ll set up displays, network with enthusiasts, and be an ambassador for the company.

Sales Functions
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of Impact and MasterCraft branded products and utilize this knowledge to successfully generate sales and create a great customer purchasing experience.
- Remain knowledgeable of key processes, business initiatives and internal resources in order to assist the sales team in accomplishing company goals.
- Attend select consumer and/or trade shows and race eventsÂ
- Continuously research and remain knowledgeable of industry trends and competition.
- Determine and track customer requirements in order to recommend specific products and solutions; set appropriate customer expectations.
- Recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability. Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability and/or specifications.
- Present price, credit & terms in accordance with SOP & customers profile.
- Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items
- Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related, customer satisfaction.
- Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.
- Contact customers after the sale to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints.
- Actively prospect local events and sales opportunities and advise management on those events with recommendations.
- Makes outbound phone calls and customer visits in the interest of increasing salesÂ
- Remain current on consumer preferences, by interacting with customers at events and reading trade journals.
- Miscellaneous additional duties as assignedÂ

Requirements:
- A deep passion for the racing industry is essential. Candidates must be knowledgeable about the motorsports community and have an enthusiasm for contributing to its safety and success.
- Familiarity with motorsports safety gear and equipment, including helmets, suits, and other protective gear, is highly desirable.
- Must be excited about travel and spending time at industry events, racetracks, and customer sites. This role requires frequent travel to key motorsports events and customer locations, both domestic and international.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present products and technical information to clients. Comfortable with networking and relationship-building.
- Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer service, to ensure client satisfaction and product improvement.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel to customer sites and events
