Responsibilities

State Farm’s staff counsel office in Indianapolis is seeking an administrative support team member. We are looking for someone who is detailed-oriented, can multi-task, has great customer service skills and can work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. This candidate should have excellent organizational skills, along with accurate typing skills, knowledge familiarity of the legal process and legal and medical terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, reception area duties, answering phones, handling efaxes and emails, scanning documents, confirming appointments, ordering records, and other administrative duties.

You will be working in a hybrid environment, with some required presence in the office and some remote. Work arrangements could change over time based on business needs.


Qualifications

  • Familiarity of the legal process including legal and medical terminology
  • Accurate typing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working in an office setting
  • Strong computer skills and experience working in a digital/electronic environment
  • Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work opportunity
