Summary

CHS is on the hunt for a sharp, analytical Customer Insights Analyst to join our dynamic Sales Operations team. This role is a blend of strategic thinking and deep customer data analysis, working closely with sales, customer experience, customer service, IT, and Go-to-Market leadership. We're looking for someone who lives and breathes data, uncovering insights that shape customer and sales team behavior.

 

This person must be located near our Inver Grove Heights office. Relocation assistance will not be offered.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the conceptualization, design, and integration of pivotal PowerBI dashboards for sellers and sales leaders within the Microsoft Dynamics Platform.
  • Collaborate with go-to-market partners to derive requirements and build robust Customer Success KPIs from diverse data sources.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate and enhance legacy applications and reports, thereby improving the seller and customer experience.
  • Utilize machine learning models (Dataiku), Snowflake data tables, Qualtrics survey intelligence, CoPilot for Dynamics, and other analytics tools to equip stakeholders with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Lead and assist in the ongoing development and maintenance of customer lifetime value and churn/loss models to pinpoint high-value prospects/customers, mitigate revenue risk, and maximize revenue potential.
  • Analyze customer sales, persona, and survey feedback data to uncover trends, buying patterns, and insights that will inform sales actions and go-to-market strategies.
  • Partner with customer analytics teammates to create predictive models that drive customer segmentation methodologies, influence territory design, and signal potential sales activities.
  • Collaborate with directors of key and strategic accounts, retail sales directors, wholesale sales directors, and cross-functional teams including UX, marketing, finance, customer experience, and continuous improvement to identify opportunities to bring data to life.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in customer insights and analytics, including automation and generative AI.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of experience in Information Technology and/or Data Science Technology

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful insights and recommendations.
  • Experience in Marketing, Sales, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex data and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in customer segmentation and targeting strategies, customer lifetime value models, and market research.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as PowerBI.

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
