Our client, a leading aerospace company, is seeking a Contract Engineer Embedded Mid to join their team. As a Contract Engineer Embedded Mid, you will be part of the software engineering department supporting the W&W System Components team. The ideal candidate will have strong software design and development skills, experience with aerospace regulations, and proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and LabVIEW.
Job Title: Contract Engineer Embedded Mid
Location: Irvine, California (Onsite)
Pay Range:Â $50/hour
What's the Job?
- Design and implement advanced control algorithms for power electronic applications
- Develop control system software requirements to write embedded code for 3-phase Active Rectifier, Motor Control electronics
- Contribute to system design and independently develop subsystem designs that meet the requirements
- Test/debug power electronics controllers, Source and assembly level debugging
- Optimize software performance by working with control system engineers
What's Needed?
- 8+ years of experience in software design/development for Motor Drives
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, LabVIEW
- Experience with aerospace regulations such as DO-178 and DO-254 Standards
- Experience with TMS320F28XX DSP, PIC16XX, MC68XXX or X86 DSPs/Microcontrollers
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
