  • West Coast University is seeking a Territory Manager for Alumni Relations to enhance relationships with alumni nationwide and manage alumni activities and events. The role requires 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in higher education, and offers a salary range of $76,172.62 to $110,439.69. Responsibilities include maintaining a portfolio of alumni, organizing events, securing sponsorships, and leading fundraising efforts for the Alumni Scholarship. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, knowledge of CRM systems, and the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment. A bachelor's degree is required, with a master's degree preferred, and the position is onsite with occasional travel and evening or weekend commitments.

You will make an impact by:

  • Accountability for success of WCU Alumni functions and building strong relationships with key groups in the WCU community; supports the goals of placement and clinical preceptors, continued education, enrollments, and fundraising.
  • Being the Territory Manager for Alumni groups based nationally which monitors and manages all regional activities; will require travel between territories (including Administration office) to complete alumni relations activities and initiatives.
  • Responsible for maintaining a portfolio of a minimum of 150 alumni, moving them through the Alumni Life- Cycle and supporting them in their educational and career goals by maintaining regular communication via direct contact, phone calls, text message, social media messages, and email blasts.
  • Manages all aspects of alumni events within the territories including organization of event/program logistics, site visits, vendor contracting, budget management, event/program evaluation, set-up and break down of events.
    • Events include but not limited to alumni presentations and panels, networking events, reunions, speakers, campus events, and fundraising events.
  • Will work closely with other Alumni Relations staff on more complex events and programs within Alumni relations such as Commencement, Alumni Awards, networking, and Online Events.
  • Secures sponsorships and leads fundraising efforts for the Alumni Scholarship by building relationships with community and employers while hosting campus and alumni Pop-Up Fundraising Events.

Your experience includes:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience required; Higher education experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable databases and computer application systems to supply the most accurate information, reports, and projections, including CRM systems and Raiserā€™s Edge.
  • Understanding of Marketing & Communications Philosophy with direct experience with all major social networks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly ethnic and culturally diverse student and associate community.
  • Ability to work as a team leader and manager.
  • Ability to build and manage important public relations.
  • Ability to make procedural decisions and judgments with skills in gathering data, compiling information, and preparing reports.
  • Ability to manage, budget and allocate funds. Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills. Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Commencement planning experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel/drive locally and regionally on a weekly, daily and/or on an as needed basis.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends on an as-needed basis.
  • This is an onsite position where you will work in the office on a daily basis.
