What we do:

The Sr. Manager, Quality is responsible for leading the quality department with a focus on ensuring the highest standards of quality across the organization.  In this capacity, the Sr. Manager, Quality collaborates with internal stakeholders throughout all levels of the organization as well as with external stakeholders including regulatory authorities, other governmental agencies, and industry representatives.  This role oversees the development and maintenance of robust quality systems, quality assurance processes, and supplier quality to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. 

What you can do:

  • Foster a culture of safety and quality excellence throughout the organization
  • Lead and mentor the quality teams, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities
  • Oversee the team responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the quality management system, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee the team responsible for quality assurance and conducting inspections of products and processes to ensure they meet design requirements and quality standards
  • Oversee the team responsible for supplier quality, including supplier quality audits, qualification, and performance monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant aerospace regulations, including FAA/EASA requirements, and manage relationships with regulatory bodies during audits and inspections
  • Develop and maintain key quality performance indicators and regularly report on quality performance to senior leadership, including the Chief Safety and Quality Officer
  • Identify and mitigate quality-related risks throughout the product lifecycle, from design to delivery, to ensure product reliability and safety

What you can contribute:

  • A bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field is required
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in quality management within the aerospace industry, including a background in quality systems development, quality assurance, and supplier quality management is required
  • A minimum of five (5) years in a senior leadership position is preferred
  • Experience overseeing a team of quality professionals and collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior management is required
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and managing quality audits is required
  • Deep understanding of aerospace standards and regulations, such as AS9100, and FAA/EASA requirements
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive delivery of communication and follow-up
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints

You may also be able to contribute:

  • Experience in traditional aviation operations or aerospace design and manufacturing is preferred

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.

The pay range for this position is:
$251,000—$320,600 USD
