Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement category sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings, quality improvements, and risk mitigation.
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to ensure high performance and alignment with company objectives.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, service levels, and performance metrics.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, emerging suppliers, and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leaders, to understand business needs, align sourcing strategies, and ensure effective communication and implementation.
  • Influencing and Driving Change: Employ best practices and thought leadership to influence stakeholders and drive change across the organization, ensuring the adoption of innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sourcing strategies and supplier performance.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure continuity of supply and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on consulting and professional services categories.

 Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and drive performance improvements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change within an organization.
