As the Texas Safety Manager, you will spearhead our HSE initiatives in the Texas region, playing a pivotal role in promoting a safe, healthy, and productive work environment. This position requires a dynamic leader capable of fostering a culture of safety excellence across all levels of operations.

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of HSE guidelines, policies, and procedures that align with company objectives.
- Engage with Business Line Management to tackle challenges and fulfill customer mandates, ensuring robust support for HSE initiatives.
- Stay ahead of pending legislation and regulatory mandates, crafting compliance strategies and effectively communicating these throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with Line and Project Management on regulatory compliance, incident reporting, and case management.
- Spearhead safety training programs, ensuring relevance, compliance, and effectiveness.
- Drive safety culture through behavioral change, influence, and engagement, ensuring safety becomes a core aspect of our operational DNA.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and MSHA regulations, leveraging audits, training, and expert consultations.
- Maintain a visible and proactive role in the project safety process, acting as a key point for safety process communication and enhancements.
- Foster relationships with external professionals and organizations to stay abreast of best practices and regulatory compliance.
What We're Looking For
- 5-7 years of leadership experience in HSE roles, with at least 3 years in management.
- A Bachelor's degree in health and safety from an accredited college/university or commensurate experience with proven results.
- Preferred qualifications include ASP or CSP certification, Smith System Train the Trainer.
- 3-5 years of experience with DOT/FMCSA training, driver qualification files, and Clearinghouse.
- OSHA and MSHA Certifications (e.g., OSHA 500/510, MSHA Part 46, Certified MSHA instructor).
- 3-5 years of experience in oil & gas or energy sector is highly desirable.
