One of our critical and highly visible initiatives is building, scaling and maintaining industry-leading lending tech stack for credit and pricing, and data sciences to drive the best omni channel experiences for our customers. The VP/D Product Manager for this lane and handles a portfolio of modernizing capabilities  aligned to a common set of objectives that drives OMF’s core lending business. The VP/D Product Manager is responsible for setting and evangelizing the vision that achieves business objectives, such as growth in new money, reduction in costs and transition to a modern target state tech platforms. Consistent engagement with senior executive and front-line stakeholders is paramount to build consensus and drive decisions. The VP/D Product Manager will partner with an Engineering Leads who will drive the technical agenda and workforce in delivering against the Product roadmap.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Experience in building modern credit, pricing and data science platforms in a reputed financial services organization.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.

  • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and delivery.

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in a plan, build and/or operation role in a high performing technology powered product organization.

  • Proven experience providing roadmaps, product overviews, reports, backlog and documentation for enterprise technology solutions.

  • Ability to translate business requirements to technology architecture plans

  • Experience delivering within cloud-based environments & applications; and understanding of legacy applications built using mainframes

  • Experience in continuous delivery using Agile delivery concepts and toolkits

  • Strong influence and negotiating skills, and the ability to overcome barriers and resistance to execute against strategic plans

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of a large enterprise organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.

  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.

  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Infrastructure technologies such as Infrastructure as Code and Platforms

  • Experience with Monitoring Products

  • SDLC and DevOps experience with automation concepts around CI/CD

This role is Hybrid. You should be located within a commutable distance to one of our offices located in Baltimore MD, Charlotte NC, Wilmington DE, Evansville IN, or Dallas/Fort Worth TX. We do not provide relocation assistance if outside a core location.

Target base salary range is $170k - $190k, which is based on various factors including skills, work experience, and location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive additional compensation program that is based on individual and company performance.
