Current role involves but is not limited to price execution and maintenance for all Pricing related activities for the Masters Business Unit, specifically: pricing across all three sales channels (EDI, Masters Website, and Telephonic via SalesForce). Product level pricing for Generic, Brand and OTC products within Masters OneStop catalog and unique Masters specific deal products as and when applicable. Closely supporting the broader pricing activities as needed, in a proactive manner, considering secondary wholesale market dynamics. Role requires collaboration with Sales, Finance, Business Development, Marketing, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily maintenance to ensure all prices for the Masters business unit are uploaded in the system accurately and timely for visibility / access to Sales and Customers
  • Maintaining Hard Floors on products that require strict pricing parameters to maintain appropriate gross profit margins. Reviewing dashboards to ensure impacts of changes are inline with expectations, adjusting as needed to align to market. Support Pricing enhancement initiatives.
  • Work across team and business segments to identify new business opportunities based on product market dynamics, channel, and customer segment to capture new profits. Provide feedback to purchasing on possible new product(s) to capture optimal gross profit.
  • Maintain and build relationships with sales team to help streamline performance including additional training as needed on recently rolled out inquiry form process. Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Education

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree, however years of experience can be considered equivalent substitute.

Critical Skills

  • Previous pricing knowledge and experience a must (5-7 years)
  • Understand impacts to financial statements from pricing dynamics
  • Financial modeling skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Experience with SAP, SQL and Tableau, PBI, Oracle a plus.

Additional Skills

  • Primary pharmaceutical distribution experience highly encouraged (within Pricing). Secondary pharmaceutical distribution experience considered significant advantage. 
  • Ability to communicate with leaders across multiple functions to make strong business decisions.
  • Extremely flexible, highly organized, and demonstrated ability to balance multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented, and proactive work management
  • Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of the secondary wholesaler market.
  • Ability to serve as an inclusive team player who shares knowledge with their team.

Salary: 74,000.00 - 98,700.00 - 123,400.00 USD Annual
