About The Position

Wellhart is partnering with a Hospital in Florida to place a locum tenens Emergency Medicine Physician for a 60-day assignment starting June 1, 2025. The position involves rotating shifts, including both day and night coverage, across multiple sites.

Start Date: June 1, 2025

LOA: 60 days

Schedule: Rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am), some 8-hour shifts available

Facility Location: Florida

Provider Needed: Emergency Medicine Physician

Type of Facility: Hospital

Requirements:

•Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, OR

•Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with minimum 2 years EM experience

•Valid NPI number

•Active DEA license

•Current Certificate of Insurance (COI)

•Florida medical license

•ABEM/ABOEM certification

Duties:

•Provide emergency medical care during assigned shifts

•Work at multiple sites as needed

•Handle a variety of emergency cases in a well-equipped facility

Facility Details:

•On-site diagnostic imaging including CT Scanner, Ultrasound, and X-ray

•On-site Laboratory Services
