Position Summary:
Provides direct day-to-day care of patients and families. Practices to the fullest extent of his/her license in accordance with organizational policies. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, functions as a member of the Patient Care Team to implement the patients’ plan of care. Provides population specific care to meet the developmental needs of those patients we serve. The nurse, in conjunction with the Nurse Manager, participates in performance excellence initiatives that are focused on improving patient care and outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:Â
Medical – Surgical RNs: Graduation from a program for professional nurses. One year experience or less. Letter of recommendation from Nurse Manager. Satisfactory Performance Appraisal. No performance improvement actions over the past twelve months. Commitment to work at Memorial Medical Center Critical Care for 24 months after completing internship
Graduate Nurses: Enrolled in a program for professional nurses. Letter of recommendation from School of Nursing instructor. Graduate Nurse Summary for Employment from School of Nursing. Commitment to work at Memorial Medical Center Critical Care for 24 months after completing internship
