Additional Information
We are hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic in Kansas City, MO. This job is offering up to $35.00 per hour depeding on experience.
Your responsibilities as a Diesel Technician will include, but are not limited to:
- Handle organization and tracking of PO'sÂ
- Organize the shop workload for the shop technicians
- Be able to order parts for the shop
- Work well with the Shop Service Manager on leadership tasks
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment
- Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of trucks & trailers
- Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines
- Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.
Job Requirements:
- Own necessary essential tools
- Minimum 10 years experience required
- Must have Class A License
- Must have 609 certification (MVAC), SAE and welding experience
