Saint Luke's North on Barry Road is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a nursing assistant, a patient care tech or even someone interested in becoming a nursing assistant and providing patient care. Those candidates that are not certified or that do not have applicable experience will receive 6 weeks of on-the-job training to learn the position. This training will be full-time. You will have the opportunitytohelp improve hospital throughput and capacity while enhancing the patient experience. Our nursing assistants make an impact on our patient's hospital stay daily by providing individualized care in a positive and supportive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Providespatient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.
- Performsdirect and indirect patient care tasks.
- Providesassistance with activities of daily living and care such as bathing, hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation and positioning.
- Anticipatesthe patient's family needs in a proactive fashion.
- Individualizesand modifiescare according to the patient's needs.
- Collaborateswith other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care.
Nursing Assistant starting pay is $17.50 per hour, along with night and weekend differentials when you work those shifts.
