Shipping and Receiving Candidate Needed in Kennesaw
TRC Staffing is currently recruiting for a Shipping and Receiving for our client located in Kennesaw, GA.
Job Details:
- $15.50/hr.
- Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm
- Temp to Hire
Job Duties
- Manage the accurate processing of receivables (visual inspections, report anomalous issues), delivery of material to Production, and on time order fulfillment
- Coordinate with Trade Compliance Manager to remain knowledgeable of trade compliance regulations to ensure legal shipments – Ensure accuracy of commercials invoices and packages are properly marked to meet regulatory compliance
- Manage inventory accuracy through routine cycle counts and analysis
- Ensure that all inventory is handled, organized, and stored properly-FIFO, Activate By Dates
- Monitor & ensure shipping assistant(s) performance by providing training and working with leadership to monitor adherence to policies
- Communicate with other Operations teams and Management to keep them informed of discrepancies, material availability, and sales order updates
- Coordinate resources and materials with all other Production departments to ensure on time delivery of goods
- Maintain an organized work area for safety and productivity
- Investigate new ideas utilizing lean principles to implement new systems or processes aimed at improving safety, quality, delivery and efficiency
- Collect, populate, and communicate data for visual management boards
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Two years of work-related experience along with, IATA, IMDG, and 49 CFR training.
- Basic math skills
- Organizational skills
- Basic computer skills including ERP systems, MS Office, e-mail, and current windows OS.
