  • Referral Management:
    1. Receive, review, and process incoming referrals from external healthcare providers in a timely manner.
    2. Verify referral information for completeness and accuracy.
    3. Coordinate with patients and external providers to obtain necessary medical records and information.
    4. Maintains ongoing tracking and appropriate documentation on referral and authorizations.
  • Communication:
    1. Facilitate effective communication between our clinic and external healthcare partners.
    2. Communicate referral status updates to patients, providers, and internal staff as needed.
    3. Address inquiries and provide information related to the referral process.
    4. Contacts organizations and insurance companies to ensure prior authorization requirements are met.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping:
    1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all referrals and related communications.
    2. Ensure compliance with privacy and confidentiality regulations in handling patient information.
    3. Ensure complete and accurate registration, including patient demographics and current insurance information.
  • Collaboration:
    1. Collaborate with healthcare providers to streamline referral processes and improve overall efficiency.
    2. Work closely with the administrative and clinical teams to ensure a smooth transition for patients referred to our clinic.
    3. Exemplifies a team concept but can also work independently and manages work time and resources effectively.
    4. Works effectively under pressure handling demands from multiple sources professional and courteously.
  • Follow-up and Reporting:
    1. Conduct follow-up activities to track the progress of referrals and address any issues that may arise.
    2. Generate reports on referral statistics and outcomes for review by management
