QPS Employment Group has a great Brake Press Operator opportunity at a company in Kenosha, WI. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.

Brake Press Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set-up and operation of Amada Press Brakes (RG, HFB, HDS and FBD) and Safan.
- Select, load and install correct tooling; maintain tool inventory: keep tools clean and orderly.
- Determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces.
- Stage completed product on skids.
- Work from live schedule, verbal and written instruction, bills of material, routing, samples, blueprints and control plans.
- Perform quality inspections of parts to produce products that exceed customerā€™s expectations.
- Assist in efficient flow of raw materials routed to the Track as well as the flow of materials in down-stream processes of parts; Utilize space in an efficient manner.
- Assist in down-stream operations as needed, depending on flow and workload.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Follow safety rules, safe operating procedures and practices; help ensure all employees follow safety rules, procedures and practices.
- Maintain good housekeeping conditions in work areas.
- Active participation in ongoing individual training /development program(s).
- Set goals and objectives with Supervisor; look for ways to improve quality, productivity and flow of process.
- Report abnormalities in machines, programs, materials, processes, etc.
- Perform other related duties in down-stream processes as assigned.

Brake Press Operator Requirements:
- 2+ years Press Brake Set-up and operating experience, preferably with Amada HFB-FBD equipment or Safan.
- Previous metal fabrication background.
- Dimensional measuring and shop math competence.
- Ability to read and understand blue prints.
- Possess high caliber of quality control; strong skills in observing/ inspecting own work.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Effective communication skills to discuss and understand work procedures, training, general direction and other issues with co-workers and supervisor.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Must be able to work overtime, as required.
- Must possess a positive, "can do" attitude.
- Ability to work in other areas in FAB as work load is needed.
