Location: Onsite - Kohler, WI

Opportunity

The Waste Lab Technician is responsible for the production of Waste Lab Lavs.

Specific Responsibilities

• Gathering, sorting, and processing of Industrial waste materials in preparation for use – both for production and development purposes.
• Preparation of vitreous China batches, foundry materials, bathtub scraps, and resins for casting of lavatory sinks.
• Forming – Casting resin lavatory sinks within plastic molds.
• Transport of molds and finished ware.
• Finishing & Inspection – dry finishing, sanding, painting, shaping, hand coating.
• General cleaning and maintenance of Waste Lab.
• Follow department safety rules.

Skills/Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to work hands-on as a craftsman and must be capable of learning new crafts and must be capable of learning new craftsman skills.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly.
• Must be capable of basic math and written communication in English.
• Must be prepared to work closely with others in a team environment.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work with ambiguity.
