Location: Onsite - Kohler, WI

Are you ready to be a key player in our dynamicDistribution Center team? Under the guidance of the General Supervisor, youwill take on the critical role of ensuring smooth shipping, receiving, andwarehousing operations. As a Material Controller/Coordinator, you will be atthe heart of coordinating the delivery of Kohler Kitchen and Bath products,guaranteeing our customers receive their orders on time, every time. 

Specific Responsibilities

  • Shipment Planning: Coordinate shipments from SAP into JDA/BlueYonder waves for Truck Load, LTL, and Parcel, aiming for perfect on-time delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Allocate waves, address any inventory shortages, and maintain accurate records.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with Union Associates to troubleshoot any issues with RF devices, shipments, labels, and more.
  • System Accuracy: Correct system errors during shipment allocation and ensure seamless operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate actively in improving warehouse processes and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Document Preparation: Print packing lists, prepare Bills of Lading, and handle special delivery instructions with precision.
  • Customer Communication: Respond to inquiries from carriers and truck drivers regarding equipment and shipment schedules.
  • Inventory Audits: Perform regular inventory audits and make necessary adjustments.
  • Special Reports: Prepare special reports for management and support all duties assigned by supervision.
  • Domestic & Export Shipments: Coordinate both domestic and international shipments in partnership with transportation teams.

Skills/Requirements

  • Experience in a Warehouse or Distribution Center environment.
  • Basic computer skills are a must.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Self-driven and motivated individual with a commitment to excellence.
