The Sustainability Co-op is responsible for supporting the enterprise environmental sustainability team. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Project manage two to three projects supporting one of the strategic initiatives for the calendar year under the guidance of a subject matter expert 
  • Project Examples from past co-ops: 
  • Expand and launch the internal Sustainability Excellence Awards program 
  • Assist in the limited assurance data audit and data improvement plans 
  • Benchmarking of best practices for the hospitality business unit 
  • Scope 3 data tracking and gap closure 
  • Benchmark and propose a sustainable travel policy 
  • Develop and launch a sustainable project playbook of best practices 
  • Executive team goal setting workshop development 
  • Developing internal sharepoints and newsletters 
  • Data analysis and strategy development 
  • Developing SOPs for data management at the facility level 

Skills/Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program from an accredited institution with a major in Sustainability, Environmental, Engineering, or Business with a sustainability focus 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an on-going basis without company sponsorship
