Powerhouse Equipment Operator - 3DC, 4/4 

Location:Kohler, WI
Shift: 3DC
Hours: 6:12pm - 6:24am
4 days on/4 days off
*Expected coverage of all shifts as necessary
Pay rate: $30.85 - $34.08

KeyResponsibilities

Operate,inspect and troubleshoot all Powerhouse equipment and Plant Utility systemsefficiency, financially responsibly and support customer’s requests.

Respond,monitor and react to fire system trouble/alarms. 

Performall operations in accordance with the specified guidelines and instructions,while exercising safety for oneself and others.

Workingconditions include: Heavy industrial environment, including, but not limited toexposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt, coolants, oils, noise, heights, andconfined spaces. 

PhysicalRequirements: Bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 40 pounds ormore. 

Skills/Requirements

HighSchool diploma/GED required, must hold & maintain a valid driver’slicense and be able to meet Kohler Company’s MVR Guidelines and maintain goodstanding. Must achieve a passing score on technical skillstest.   

Mustprovide own tools.  

Musthave completed/obtain within 12-months of hire or transfer:  High-PressureBoilers POWENGR 331 coursework via Milwaukee Area Technical College orequivalent training.   Required to be an active participant on theKohler Company Fire Brigade, responding to plant fires.
