Sr. Materials Coordinator, Wisconsin Distribution Center

Work Mode: Onsite

Location:  Onsite - Kohler, WI

Hours 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (some flexibility)

Kohler Co. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sr Materials Coordinator to join our team at our Wisconsin Distribution Center. As a Sr Materials Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the management of finished good storage to optimize warehouse flow and improve efficiency. The successful candidate will have unwavering curiosity, strong analytical skills and the ability to relate and effectively communicate with all key stakeholders.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Work with the WIDC leadership team to understand current state building flow vs. desired state.
  • Research current automation and storage strategies to understand physical constraints of equipment.
  • Partner with the Warehouse Management Team to understand systematic limitations of the warehouse management system.
  • Conduct analysis on pick data to understand optimal storage for picking eaches, cases and pallets by product category.
  • Create and maintain reporting to provide slotting recommendations monthly.
  • Conduct weekly inventory analysis to identify discrepancies and solve problems.
  • Generate inventory reports and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Generate cycle counts for inventory team.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies by monitoring PO receipts.

Skills/Requirements

  • Proven experience with inventory management, slotting or similar role in a distribution center or similar environment.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive process and quality improvements.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to problem-solve, drive change, and lead through influence and collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and take action in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with individuals and groups at all levels within Kohler.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve, drive change, and lead through influence and collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory control best practices and procedures.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in data analysis and/or inventory management
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related technical or quantitative field preferred, Associate’s degree required.
  • SAP & Blue Yonder experience preferred.

The hourly range for this position is $25.55 - $31.95. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
