As a Systems Architect focusing on EDI integration development, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing our EDI landscape to meet business goals to expand our business.  You will assist with defining, mapping, documenting and implementing integrations with our external customers/vendors, in alignment with industry standards.  You will also guide an experienced team of developers who will assist you in keeping Kohler Co. moving forward. You will work with a global team delivering robust solutions to meet the evolving needs of our dynamic organization.  The ideal candidate will have significant experience with IBM WTX.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with functional teams and user community to investigate gaps between business needs and current system functionality
  • Works closely with the development teams in the design and development phases of the overall integration solution
  • Leverage IBM WTX to develop necessary map.
  • Assist with technical system documentation
  • Create and execute integration test plans/scripts/cases based on technical integration requirements defined in the integration solution documentation.
  • Build and maintains a good working relationship with key business stakeholders of IT solutions implemented
  • Will be responsible for directing, schedule, motivate and coordinate the activities of IT, user and vendor personnel 
  • Actively participate or mentor junior Analysts in troubleshooting of any integration issues
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field required
  • 10+ years of experience in EDI and Integration
  • Experience in Supply Chain/Logistics/Transportation preferred
  • Proven ability to be adaptable, capable, self-motivated, and confident
  • Excellent facilitation and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills to include internal and external communication & documentation

Technical Competencies

  • Knowledgeable in EDI ANSI X12 standards, EDIFACT, and Tradacoms
  • Experience in EDI development, translation, and mapping using  IBM WTX
  • Familiarity with different communication protocols (FTP, sFTP, AS2, VAN)
  • Experience with integrating with SAP (particularly IDocs)
  • Knowledge/Experience with Unix scripting a plus
  • Knowledge/Experience with Sterling Web forms a plus
  • Knowledge/Experience of IBM B2Bi mapping a plus
  • Knowledge/Experience of SAP PO (Process Orchestrator) a plus
