Kohler Co-op - Packaging Engineering - Summer 2025

Work Mode: Hybrid

Location: Kohler, WI

Term: May 2025 - December 2025

Opportunity

Under the direction of the Manager – Engineering, Packaging or senior level Packaging Engineer, the Packaging co-op will be responsible for the design, testing, implementation, and improvement of packaging for Kohler products. 

Specific Responsibilities:

  •  Complete Packaging requests of broad scope increasing in complexity as competence is demonstrated for new and existing Kohler products.
  • Provide engineering support for product packaging from concept through production/distribution, to final installation and/or destination.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for quality and cost through material savings, labor efficiencies, supply chain (cube) improvements and damage and defective reductions.
  • Provide data compilation and analysis support to Packaging engineers.
  • Prepare concise, complete, and professional reports on packaging testing results/issues, using data documentation and analysis tools as required.

Skills/Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (Junior or Senior standing) with a focus in Package Engineering.
  • Course work or experience in field data analysis methods, robust design, quality, and reliability performance test protocols is preferred. 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an on-going basis without company sponsorship
