Machinist Apprentice - SH1 or SH2

Location: Onsite – Kohler, WI 
Competitive Compensation: Starting at $24.55 - $32.86 per hour. 
Shift: 1st Shift or 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday 
Hours: 6:30 am - 2:48 pm or 2:30PM - 10:48PM as training progresses

Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities 

Learn how to set-up, adjust and proficiently operate the machines required to perform the assigned operations, on a variety of work requiring close tolerances and finish.  
Perform all operations in accordance with the specified guidelines and instructions, while exercising safety for oneself and others.  
Must be capable of operating a fork truck.  
WORKING CONDITIONS-Heavy industrial environment, including, but not limited to exposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt, coolants, oils, noise, heights and confined spaces.  
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS-Bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 40 pounds or more

Additional Requirements:

Required to enroll in a Machinist Apprenticeship Program.  
An interview and knowledge assessment are required. 
This position is a 4-year commitment.

Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old

Mechanical proficiency and willingness to operate industrial machinery

The salary range for this position is $24.55 - $32.86. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
