We are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Chief Engineer to supervise the engineering team and ensure work orders are completed in a timely basis according to brand standards so that guests can have an excellent experience throughout their stay. Salary Range:Â $44,740.00 - $54,682.00
This is an evenings-only position.
Typical shifts are 3:00pm-11:30pm and will include regularly working every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (and two other weekday nights)
The Assistant Chief Engineer will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
- Assist in managing building assets including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical systems; Â
- Assist in effectively planning, scheduling and evaluating preventative maintenance programs;Â
- Conduct room and equipment inspections and identify repair needs;Â
- Ensures all Associates have the proper supplies and equipment, through using company approved ordering platforms;Â
- Conduct appropriate coaching and accountability of engineering associates in accordance with Atrium’s Core Values ; Â
- Assist with scheduling Associates according to business levels;Â
- Assist in vendor proposals;Â
- Ensure proper sanitization/disinfecting/cleaning of your work area and area after you work completed; Â
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report equipment problems and maintenance issues, accidents, injuries and safety hazards, or unsafe work conditions to leadership; Â
- Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Required Prior Experience:
2+ years of engineering experience to include mechanical, electrical and plumbing
Preferred Prior Experience:
Prior supervisor/leadership experience
Prior Hotel Experience
Experience working with industrial laundry & kitchen equipment
Preferred Licenses/ Certification:
HVAC Certification
Required Technology:
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to use web-based applications
Physical:
Lifting up to 50lbs occasionally
Lifting up to 15lbs regularly, standing, bending, pushing and/or pulling.Â
Ability to navigate the property for up to four (4) hours within a shift
Other:
Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
