Position Summary:
Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
This is a Department of Nursing - Surgical Services position that provides delivery of patient care with the knowledge of a Registered Nurse. Â
Reports to: Clinical Nurse Manager/Director
FLSA: Â Non-exempt Â
Minimum Qualifications:
x Associate’s degree Required
x Bachelor's degree preferred
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) on hire
PALS required within 90 days of hire
Licenses: Arizona State RN licensure or compact state license required on hire
