The Registered Nurse Clinical Educator is responsible for providing education to care providers within established clinical protocols. This role supports caregivers with educational needs across the continuum of care and promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in planning, developing, organizing, and facilitating the activities of the education and orientation program.
- Providing education and training to care providers.
- Promoting and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.
- Supporting continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental practices.
Position Qualifications:
Education:
- Associate of Applied Science in Nursing; BSN preferred.
Experience:
- Three to five years’ experience in a clinical setting.
- Experience in healthcare management and/or adult education.
- Demonstrated examples of resourceful, creative, and innovative educational programming.
- Skilled in verbal and written communication for groups of varying sizes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of social and political trends impacting health education and the healthcare field.
Licenses/Certificates:
- NM RN License.
- Must have and maintain Instructor Certifications in BLS and NRP.
