Location: 2010 Goldring Ave Ste 200 Las Vegas, NV 89106

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answers all phone calls from 3 phone ques (scheduling, high priority, and overflow)
  • Intakes all demographic information for new patients
  • Updates demographic information for existing patients
  • Collects insurance information 
  • Requests medical records from the pcp/hospitals/referring physician for new patients
  • Schedules/Reschedules/Cancels patient's appointments for multi-location multi-providers for an Internal Medicine practice
  • Routes calls throughout the office to the appropriate department
  • Relays messages from patients/specialist/pharmacies to the appropriate individual
  • Required to have excellent telephone etiquette
  • Willing to work with others as well as an individual to meet company goals
  • Handle 90+ incoming calls daily
  • Accepting all incoming HMO and FFS referrals 100+ daily via portals, faxes, messages
  • Handle all hospital facesheets/service messages/voicemails/faxes/direct messages and add on's

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ year of general medical or medical call center experience
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous local insurance experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) 

Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for Nevada residents is $16.54 to $32.55 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
