The Staff Pad is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Director to join our client's healthcare team in Las Vegas, New Mexico. The Quality Director will be responsible for planning, administration, and monitoring of all quality management, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement processes. This position plays a critical role in overseeing and coordinating the hospital's efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and enhance the quality of patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management: Plan, administer, and monitor consistent readiness of all quality management initiatives and regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Oversee and coordinate hospital efforts to maintain compliance with all state, federal, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO) standards.
  • Performance Improvement: Direct AVRH’s Performance Improvement Program, ensuring continuous quality improvement and adherence to core measures.
  • Quality Assurance: Assure the delivery of high-quality patient care through effective monitoring and evaluation processes.
  • Leadership and Coordination: Provide leadership and technical expertise to hospital staff, fostering a culture of quality and compliance throughout the organization.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate comprehensive reports on quality metrics and regulatory compliance, and analyze data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Education and Training: Conduct training programs for staff on quality improvement processes, regulatory standards, and best practices in patient care.


Requirements


  • Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Health Services Management, Nursing, or a related field preferred but not required.

  • Minimum of five years management experience in an acute care or closely related facility.
  • At least three years of experience in quality management.
  • Licenses/Certificates:
    • Current New Mexico Registered Nurse License preferred.
    • Certified Healthcare Executive (CHE), Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), or Certificate in Health Services Management preferred.
