You’ll have the unique opportunity to work with both proprietary and licensed data for both competitors and Aristocrat portfolio applications, enabled by consumer research and data analytics insights peers. Your unique blend of data-driven insights, clear & compelling storytelling, and actionable product recommendations will inform critical investments in new games and guide improvements and growth in live portfolio games. The successful candidate is a veteran mobile gaming product expert with a persistent intellectual curiosity, top-tier data analysis skills, and a proven ability to clearly explain complex concepts to others. They are excited to advise multiple product teams vs. directly operating a product, with a day-to-day priority of digesting, synthesizing, and evangelizing successful strategies derived from a wide variety of sources. They are eager to experiment with innovative analysis techniques and to contribute to a mature insights program by aligning robust analysis to meet evolving stakeholder needs. Their work will have a profound impact on Aristocrat’s social casino portfolio’s product quality, player satisfaction, and business performance.
What You'll Do
Provide strategic insights-based advisory services to business leadership across the enterprise
Manage stakeholder relationships, defining and coordinating new projects & processes to meet their needs
Establish new strategic analysis programs, defining objectives, key results, research roadmaps, and measuring outcomes
Operationalize market trend analysis to identify product growth opportunities
Actively monitor market trends across competitor products, content, features, live ops, and KPIs in a variety of segments and genres
Direct all player experience benchmarking of competitor Slots applications, economies, progression, difficulty, reward value, pricing, balance, and similar
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of multidisciplinary analysts to rigorously elicit player needs and inform successful product strategies
Evangelize compelling narratives that clearly articulate complex concepts and communicate actionable recommendations to a diverse executive audience
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Product Management, Game Design, or similar discipline
MBA or Graduate Degree preferred. Must have strong academic record
5-7 years of experience in Product, Insights, or similar roles preferred
Deep familiarity with free-to-play game systems, product KPIs, market trends and strategy, & gaming industry dynamics
Command of macro/microeconomics, pricing theory, behavioral economics, and player motivations
Experience in executive-level reporting on in-depth product & financial analysis • Advanced analytics skills – Excel, SQL, Tableau/Looker, PowerBI, or similar preferred
