Job Title: Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Night Shift 7:00pm – 7:00am) Location: Las Vegas, NM Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for our client to join their Med Surg team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. - Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. - Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. - Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects. - Record patients' medical information and vital signs. - Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. - Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention. - Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations and treatments. Qualifications: - Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN is preferred. - At least 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Med Surg environment is preferred. - Current New Mexico RN License. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
