As a Community Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for answering incoming calls and completing outbound calls to/from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. Work Location: 650 North Nellis Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89110

Schedule: Monday – Saturday with 8hr shift between 8:00am - 7:00pm PST

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Enter prescriptions and verifying appropriate information
  • Contacting patients, pharmacists and doctor’s offices to resolve claims issues
  • Process prescriptions (from intake to order completion)
  • Resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided
  • Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining a good attendance record
  • Fulfillment of prescription orders
  • Ability to interpret prescription orders and enter into pharmacy system
  • Answering the telephone utilizing appropriate etiquette
  • Documenting interventions and tracking outcomes with Pharmacy team
  • Resolving customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Nevada
  • 2+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician including insurance claims processing, rejection, and resolution, and knowledge of laws and regulations in regards to scope of practice
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with computers using Windows PC applications, including the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Able to stand for entire shift (8 hours)
  • Able to wear mask for duration of shift, if required
  • Bilingual Spanish/English 
  • Ability to work at 650 North Nellis Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89110, Monday – Saturday with an 8 hour shift between 8:00am - 7:00pm PST
