What You'll Do
- Strategic Category Planning:
- Category discovery and prioritization through to development and execution of Sourcing Strategy.Â
- Fostering strong business partnerships with senior stakeholders globally, to ensure the Professional Services category strategy is fully aligned with company and operational goals.
- Influencing at all levels internally to embed the newly created Category Management structure at Aristocrat and to evangelize the Indirect Sourcing value proposition.
- Contract Management: Mitigate risk to the organization by establishing/negotiating robust and favorable Master Services Agreements with key Professional Services providers globally.
- Costs Management – Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies/initiatives within the Professional Services category.
- Data-driven decision-making– applying your well-developed analytic and reporting capabilities
- Continuous Learning – to ensure deep subject matter expertise within the Professional Services category.
- Sourcing Project delivery:
- Executing Sourcing plans and managing associated BAU sourcing projects within your portfolio (and providing support as required across other categories). This includes RFx related activities, negotiation contract execution, and renewals.
- Developing strong relationships with cross-functional internal stakeholders and external supply partners.
- Driving net savings and cost avoidance targets across indirect spend categories above $25M spent per year.
- Driving insight and regular stakeholder engagement cadence– aligning with the analytics team to ensure understanding of key areas of spend.
- All other duties as assigned, including but not limited to, supporting the development of strategic templates, strategy documents, project charters, executive project summaries & contract summaries, savings documentation, and audits.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum seven (7) years of Indirect Sourcing/Category Management experience (ideally in large, complex global organizations)Â
- Tertiary qualifications – Bachelor of Business, Commerce, Finance or related are required.
- Project Management (PMP) or Chartered Procurement profession is a plus.
- Deep specialist sourcing experience in a minimum of 3 Indirect Categories:Â
- Primary expertise in Professional Services (Consulting, Advisory, Legal Services, Audit, Insurance Brokerage, IT Implementation/Integration services, D&D services, Quality and Regulatory Testing Services). Â
- Additional experience in P&C /Talent/US Benefits and IT categories would be desirable.
- Superior commercial negotiation skills developed through significant corporate sourcing environment experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain transparent relationships with internal stakeholders. An ability to effectively persuade/influence others.
- Self-confident with an ability to accept and respond to challenges in a positive manner.
- Exceptional process rigor and integrity with a focus on sustainable procurement (CSR – Corporate Social Responsibility).
- Manages change, ambiguity, complexity, and drives for optimum results.
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience writing/generating RFx’s to suppliers and leading teams in complex RFx projects.
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, and project management skills.

$111,276 - $206,655 per yearOur goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
