Master Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Job Overview:
We are looking for automotive technicians/mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for must seek solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guest
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Honestly assess vehicles and document detailed recommendations of necessary repairs and manufacturer's maintenance recommendations
- Maintain professionalism while addressing all customer concerns
- Review TSB's and other service recommendations and translate them to the customer's needs
- Politely and professionally communicate cause and correction for our guest concerns regarding their vehicle
- Complete wheel and tire replacements as needed
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Responsible for keeping the branded repair vehicle clean and presentable at all times
- Master MFG-level diagnostic tools (MFG scan tools and subscriptions are provided by CBA)
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve our guest
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Must have sufficient knowledge of traffic laws, understand them and follow them
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
