Maine Physician Assistant (PA) - Occupational Medicine/Urgent Care Locum Tenens - Lewiston & Oxford Locations

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Maine licensed Physician Assistants (PAs) available to join a well-established OccMed/Urgent Care clinics in Lewiston and Oxford beginning in July.

Ideally, we are seeking turnkey providers available to float between clinics in Lewsiton & Oxford (just 15 minutes apart) 3-4 days per week. Both clinics are open Monday - Friday from (7:00am - 4:00pm). We'll certainly offer mileage reimbursement for your travels. No weekends and no call! Opportunity Specifics:

  • Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care/Occupational Medicine
  • Patient Mix: Scheduled and Walk-In Patients (All Ages)
  • Schedule:
    • Various - 3 to 4 days/week
    • Operating Hours: Monday - Friday (7:00 am-4:00 pm)
    • NO Weekend Coverage

Core Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat work-related injuries.
  • Perform pre-placement DOT, Public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for varied private companies and governmental agencies.  
  • Evaluate and treat urgent care patients on a walk-in basis.
  • Perform in-office procedures, communicate with employers and provide medical guidance.

Provider Requirements:

  • Current Maine State License & DEA
  • Active DOT Certification
  • Must be available to treat patients of all ages
