Distribution Aide Float - Full Time/ Rotation

Cleans, decontaminates and inspects equipment. Maintains par level inventory in various areas of hospital. Delivers supplies to requesting departments. Receives, inspects, verifies all supplies and equipment delivered. Restocks supplies in distribution and processing area and accurately records all issues and receipts to and from this area based on documentation and staff feedback. Answers telephone, takes supply orders, and delivers requested items to user departments. Inventories and restocks each department and supply cart and dressing cart that is on Automatic Par Level Replenishment. Assists in sterile processing and stores area as needed. Distribution and cleaning of re-useable equipment. Unloads delivery truck, inspects each shipment for accuracy and insures correct material was received with proper quantities. Prepares receiving reports. Work is typically performed in an office environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
