What You Will Do:

The Operations and Support Representative is responsible for supporting Patient Financial Services in daily operations, reporting, Explanation of Benefits review, and special projects. This position will also perform all job-related duties as assigned.

 

This position will work four days ONSITE in the Lewisville, TX office and one day from home.

  • Copying

  • Faxing

  • Printing

  • Uploading

  • EOB Review

  • Process incoming and outgoing correspondence

  • Special projects

  • Update patient address in client system

  • Posting correspondence in client system

  • Outgoing Mail Processes

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Document and distribute all business-related requests and correspondence from patients and insurance companies.

  • Complete all incoming and outgoing faxes for Patient Financial Services.

  • Process all outgoing correspondence daily.

  • Retrieve and complete all designated requests.

  • Complete all assigned projects in a timely manner.

  • Communicate to Guidehouse management areas of concern or areas of improvement.

  • Complete all internal requests.

  • Complete all copying and printing requests for Patient Financial Services.

  • Update patient demographic and insurance information.

  • Review EOB’s

  • Perform special projects to identify, and reconcile, payer specific issues. 

 

What You Will Need

  • High School Diploma / GED or 3 years of relevant equivalent experience in lieu of diploma / GED.

  • 0-2+ years' work experience in a healthcare, business, retail, customer service setting.

What Would Be Nice to Have

  • Knowledge and utilization of desktop applications to include Word and Excel is helpful.

  • Ability to initiate and follow through on projects and work independently.
