The Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an exceptionally talented, motivated, and creative Staff Microelectronics Product Engineer to support our Test and Assembly functions at our Linthicum, MD facility, the Advanced Technology Lab (ATL). Located outside of Baltimore, Maryland - where we design, manufacture, and test semiconductor products for internal and commercial production customers as well as emerging technology programs. Northrop Grumman's ATL semiconductor foundry is a unique capability supporting a range of production microelectronic devices (Silicon, Gallium Arsenide, Gallium Nitride, and Silicon Carbide) and providing leading edge technology development in Superconducting Electronics and SLCFET. Our devices enable numerous Northrop Grumman's ground-based radars, avionic radars, and space systems. As a Staff Microelectronics Product Engineer, candidate will serve as the product engineering lead, generating & maintaining product backend (test & assembly) trip tickets, track/monitor program metrics (delivery & yield), resolve technical issues, and lead team efforts to drive cost and schedule improvements across a technology sector. Candidate will be working closely with program managers, functional engineering staff (product, test, assembly, design, process, quality), and operations, serving as the engineering POC for any product related technical and production issues.
