Location:  6800 W 115th St. Suite 600 Overland Park, KS 66211

Schedule: Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts between the hours of 6:00am-4:30pm

Primary Responsibilities:

  •  Assisting with Regulatory and Compliance:
    • Internal auditing (front and backend offices)
    • Filing and organizational duties
  • Working in Fulfillment center:
    • Dispense any or all the following: tablets/capsules, unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, and related supplies following state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures
    • Process, pack, and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring drugs, related supplies, and patient collateral (education materials) are included
    • Perform drug/supply ordering and inventory/warehouse duties, including proper storage of drugs and supplies and appropriate refrigeration of perishable product, monitor and adjust/calibrate pharmacy equipment, fill dispensing unit
    • Process and fill prescription orders in preparation for pharmacist verification
    • Some packing and shipping of completed prescription orders to patients

Required Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Kansas
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • 2+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician 
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system application
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Must be 18 years of age or older 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience
  • Inventory experience
  • Invoicing experience
  • Auditing experience
  • Experience navigating through Microsoft Office Suite

 

The salary range for this role is $16.88 to $33.22 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
