Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity – Russellville, AR

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Russellville, AR. This assignment offers flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to work in a well-established emergency department.

Opportunity Details:

• Location: Russellville, AR
• Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Schedule:
  • Physician Coverage: 24 hours per day
  • APP Coverage: 22 hours per day
  • Shift Structure:
    • Physicians: Two 12-hour shifts
    • APCs: Two 11-hour shifts
  • Minimum Commitment: 20+ shifts per month
  • Temp Privileges Available for Eligible Providers
• Practice Setting: Physician-Supported Emergency Department
• Facility Details:
  • Annual Patient Volume: 24,621
  • ED Bed Count: 18 (16 treatment rooms + 2 trauma rooms)
  • Credentialing Timeline: Standard processing time
  • Trauma Designation: Level III
  • EMR System: Meditech Expanse

Patient Load & Flow:

• Patients Per Hour: 1.93 per hour

Provider Requirements:

• Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Licensure: Active & Unrestricted Arkansas State License & DEA
• Required Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS
• Experience: Emergency Medicine experience required
