About The Position
We are seeking a Pediatric Otolaryngology/ENT Surgeon for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Arkansas. This 96-day assignment begins on 06/23/2025, with a potential for extension. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with two days in the clinic and two days in the operating room, flexibly arranged. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing a wide range of pediatric ENT conditions in both clinical and surgical settings, including ear infections, hearing loss, nasal congestion, and various ear surgeries. This opportunity involves working with the Epic EMR system and may require 24-hour post-operative observation when needed.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:Â
• Provide comprehensive pediatric otolaryngology care in both clinical and surgical settingsÂ
• Diagnose and treat various ENT conditions, including:
- Ear infections and swimmer's ear
- Hearing loss and ruptured eardrums
- Eustachian tube dysfunction
- Foreign bodies in the ear and nose
- Nasal congestion and allergic rhinitis
- Deviated septum and nosebleedsÂ
• Perform ear surgeries and other ENT proceduresÂ
• Manage patient care in clinic and operating room settingsÂ
• Conduct post-operative observations when requiredÂ
• Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation and managementÂ
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomesÂ
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
