Our client is seeking a insurance assistant to join their team. As an insurance assistant, you will provide administrative support to insurance broker in the middle market department. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing certificates, auto id cards, updating schedule of insurance, invoicing and performing other administrative tasks.

 

Job Title: Insurance Assistant

Pay Range: $55,000 - $65.000

 

What’s the Job?

  • Handle customer inquiries over phone, email for day to day tasks, such as certificates, auto id cards, billing inquiries.
  • Respond to policy-related queries and coverage requests.
  • Communicate with insurance providers to process and invoice endorsements.
  • Manage client databases such as templated and schedule of insurance  and update policies and contact information accordingly.
  • Assist with the preparation of insurance reports and documents.
  • Provide support to agents and brokers in the day-to-day operations of the business.
  • Prepare Finance Agreements
  • Prepare Marketing Files by order loss runs and updating Loss History
Requirements
  •  Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • P&C License
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and PowerPoint).
  • Excel proficiency a must
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
