Job Title: Electrician - Engineering/Maintenance
Location: 4151 Prospect Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90027
Assignment Duration: 4 months (potential to convert to FTE at $80,000 annually)
Shift: Swing Shift (4x10s), 2pm - 12:30am (Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri)
Pay : $26/hr on w2

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled electrician to join our Engineering and Technical Services team at *****. This role involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment across assigned facilities. The electrician will work independently, provide updates to leadership, and ensure safe, reliable equipment operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and new installations on electrical and lighting systems, including components like switches, gauges, wiring, and pumps.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained safely, conducting repairs and replacements as needed.
  • Use historical maintenance data to design preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Deliver efficient, customer-focused service, managing work order tasks effectively.
  • Work across disciplines when needed, including plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; electrician certification (CA certification preferred).
  • 4-6 years of experience in electrical work, with autonomous work ability.
  • Strong communication skills and customer focus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiar with CMS and work order systems.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs+, climb, and work on ladders/stairs.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
