Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced and California-licensed Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for an exciting Emergency Medicine locum tenens opportunity in Oakdale, CA. This is a flexible, high-impact role supporting a community-focused hospital's well-equipped emergency department.

Location: Oakdale, California
Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens
Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing
Schedule: 10-hour APP shifts (exact hours confirmed upon interview)
Temporary Privileges: Available for qualified candidates
Facility Overview:
Annual ED Volume: 20,579
Trauma Level: No Designation (Goal: Level IV by 2025-2026)
ED Beds: 12 Private Rooms
Fast Track Beds: 4
Admission Rate: 4%
Radiology: CT & Ultrasound 24/7, MRI during daytime hours
EMR: Meditech
Provider Requirements:
Degree: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Licensure: Active California License & Unrestricted DEA
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care; must be comfortable managing patients independently in a community-based setting
